  1. Haula is most likely getting re-signed in NJ. His impact was huge, especially in the playoffs, plus Jack Hughes benefitted a lot earlybin the season with Haula setting him up. Meier is going to be tricky but I think they get the deal done (NJ filed for arbitration) and most of the RFAs will be back. Wood, Graves, Blackwood, and Tatar are probably gone depending on what the Meier deal ends up being. Wood might be brought back but he struggled since his hip surgery and hasn't been quite as effective as he's been in the past. It will be interesting to see what moves are made leading up to the draft.

  2. I think this is a fair deal. Devils weren't going to do much better for that value on the open market – and Bratt is a perfect fit in that fast-break stretch-pass system. I think signing Meier will be a priority as well. Assume they'll sign Graves, but they have Luke Hughes and Simon Nemec coming up for the D-corps.
