    Well, it's absolutely obvious that the Blues are in retool/rebuild mode as another Stanley Cup Vet from the team gets jettisoned –hopefully, Zach Dean turns out to be a decent NHL player but I see the Blues being a lower rung team for the next 3-4 seasons and not making the playoffs in the near future. Fortunately for me, I watch as many games as I can, and the Rangers doing well helps take away from the pain of watching the Blues play poorly.

    Barby's a good to very good player. Versatile and can play a physical game as well as score. A 10-15 goal player basically who can play on just about any line depending. Hoping Dean can end up being someone worthwhile. Decent transaction for both teams.

    Another UFA who was probably not going to resign, traded for a solid prospect. Good move by the Blues.
