Hope you guys enjoyed the video! Do you think we'll see more teams making big trades now??
We're you at the game
TacTix=š
More impressive first year honestly
you should do more videos on real life NHL topics. also is the new franchise video coming tonight?
You should do more videos like this. I respect your knowledge of the sport.
Their strategy will backfire hard. They are in for a very long dark age eventually.
98.4M in cap hit will make you the best team
You also have to take into account that their cup run was easy. They weren't actually thag good in any of the series, they just lucked into exceptional circumstances and I think NHL teams would be stupid to restructure the way they manage a team based on one team getting fortunate matchups.
Florida also didnāt have many players drafted by them on the Stanley cup final team
A hot goalie is so true! As a Stars fan, I totally kept saying "oh, Adin Hill is only a 4th string goalie, we got this." We didn't got this š but Hill was a big reason why for going Super Saiyan hot out of nowhere to shut down some league leading offenses in Edmonton, Florida, and Dallas. Incredible run, congrats to Vegas and their management for building a team of champions so fast š
Ppl who keep saying itās going to backfireā¦THEY WON A CUP! Helloooooo Iām pretty sure 3/4 of the league would do this just to have a cup and they were the first ones ballsy enough to do itā¦yeah eventually they will probably go through a dark periodā¦what franchise doesnāt? The argument is null and void when they can literally say yeah well we have a Stanley Cup. N Iām not even a Vegas Fan lol but gotta tip your cap to a cup.
I really like the format of this video. Talking about a franchizes history and looking back at draft pick trades and signings. Analyzing the GM strategy
So the trick is to get as high over the cap as possible ? Worked for many recent winners
Worth noting about Vegas only having one player on their roster they drafted themselves: Florida also only had two players they themselves have drafted.
Kraken winning it next season
I really liked this style of video
I would argue that this year was the first time Vegas played like every other NHL team and that's why it paid off. This season they never made that elaborate signing or high end trade, and rather just built depth around the core that they had assembled after gambling in the offseason for all the prior years. Since all the stars had time to mesh with each other, that's why they finally put it all together this season.
looking buff tactix
i know this is off topic for the video but i think the next Franchise mode you should do is Washington, older team pretty mid and not many prospects plus Ovi and that goal record, and youāve done pittsburgh so i think itās fitting to do washington
They didnāt trade away all those assets for ānothingā. They got 3 really good years of Pacioretty in there and made the conference finals twice with him, and he was instrumental in those runs. I have no problem with the Suzuki move. Tatar move is a different story
I think the NHL is starting to change in this direction.
