Honestly if Timo, Mercer, and Haula aren’t re-signed today I’ll be disappointed. Obviously those are high hopes but it’s apparently go time. I’m rock hard.
During exit interviews I believe Fitz said they were going to have the front office take a little bit of a break because everyone has been working so hard. I would assume this means that break is over.
Contract negotiations between NJD and Claude Lemieux have a notorious history. Love him on the ice, but an asshole when it comes to the paperwork. Let’s see how this pans out.
I’m excited to see NJ on the come up! You’ve got so many great players and contracts, but do you worry about the size of the guys in your core? They are going to ruin teams in the regular season, but I wonder how it will translate to playoffs.
