I’m with Rachel on the Hayes front
The buyout cap hit on Peterson is HUGE. They have no choice but to bury him in the AHL & try again next year. That was Danny's 1st bad move. Hayes & Deslauriers aren't ideal fits for this rebuilding team but I'd keep them around to mentor / protect the talented youth whom the rest of the league will try to push around. DeAngelo MUST go. The last black mark of Fletcher's term here. I know it's not ideal but I'd start with a D of York/Risto, Sanhiem/Attard, Walker/Zamula. I have ZERO confidence that Ellis, Couts, & Atkinson will return / remain healthy. Expect them to end up on LTIR.
