i love working night shift. 10 minutes ago. ty wwp!
thanks guys, always interesting, greetings from the Netherlands
Max is a comedian XD
Detroit might have to give up some 2023 draft picks to secure a DeBrincat trade with Ottawa assuming a deal goes through.
Everyone talking about Debrincat but I don't see him as an Yzerman kind of player. He almost never drafts small players, especially extremely small ones like Debrincat. Why would he trade for one when he won't draft them? Could of had Matthew Savoie but went for Kasper. Why not just wait for him to be a UFA in a few years and sign him without giving up assets.
Guys you should check out Expected by whom if you haven't already. Some interesting discussions and I'm learning a bit about analytics and their origin.
Good grief, two horrible picks for Detroit. They need goal scoring!!! If the board falls that way they need to go with Moore and Barlow and then fill in the other needs in the second. Honzek and Simashev is a Holland style draft.
Honestly boys, this has to be the worst episode I’ve watched of the winged wheel. The picks were god awful. Prashanth, honzek at 9? Freakin Danielson at 9 as well? It’s Zach benson or Moore at 9 don’t over think it. No LHD players unless you think they’ll be better than what we currently have.
Shimashev at 17??? Jesus prashanth cmon my dude………..
Honzek and another left d … ffs . Wood at 9 , hugeee upside . trade up from 17 and get moore and leave with both otherwise there’s musty/but at 17.
We need goal scorers , we’d be able to use some of berggren, soderblom, veleno, buium in a deal for a younger center I believe if need be
Ryan said to pick based what you would do, and not what the current GM would do, and his directions were not followed 😂
What do you guys think of pulling a Ken Holland and trading down in the draft? 9th overall pick to Nashville for 15th and 24th pick. I don't think the difference between 9th and 15th is big and the rankings vary for each team. Danielson, Yager, Wood, Pellikka or some of the other skilled wingers will definitely be there at 15. A really solid player will be there at 24 and a high ranked one could fall. You at least end up with a guy like Stenberg, Ritchie or Danil But.
Trading the 17th pick to the Blues for 25 and 29 also seems like a an option, maybe take the big goalie Michael Hrabal with 29.
I think it's a really good idea because the draft is so deep, especially the Nashville option.
Will Smith belongs in Philly
Why would Yzerman pick Honzek at 9, hope you guys explain
Here guys , if you like i could draft for you unexpected guys . Barlow at9 and Sawchyn at 17
I'd rather trade 9th OA than take Honzek.
Did Theo Lindstein really drop recent? So many mocks out there, but have seen him in top part of second round. Bonk, Stramel, Pinelli, Whitelaw, Dragicevic, Lindstein would be my group to pick from for the second rounders. Nelson is a name I wasn’t tracking. Will have to look into
him.
I think Honzek will be around at 17.
