  1. The culture in the Jets locker room is toxic. They have been together long enough and have not reached expectations in the playoffs. GM Chevy has an opportunity to prove his skill aa a GM to not rebuild but reconstruct the team. Bring in playoff performers. Give us hope again!

  2. Button is a fastener 😂 can't stand his opinions #1 get rid of Hellybucyk, Wheeler, Scheiffle and Dubois , all toxic on the team C YA 🎉

  3. Maybe toronto would pay up for Helly..what would we want from Toronto? Nylqnder and Holl maybe. Maybe thats a lot for 1 year of Helly but the allure of resigning with them might be enough. Anyone else from toronto fit our team?

  4. We will get great assets for these players as much as it’ll sting losing these guys for absolute nothing would kill the team

  5. First message needs to be to the Winnipeg Jets fans, that message has to show that True North gives a crap about those fans, which they haven't to date. Cheveldayoff has had his chance and hasn't gotten it done. First thing True North needs to do is say thank-you to Chevy and bring in Patrick Roy. That instantly signals a change in culture and a massive infusion of passion for hockey, Roy loves the game and he loves to win, hates to lose, and has been a proven winner wherever he has landed. First out the door, Hellebuyck and Dubois to Montreal for Anderson, Dach and Johnny Kovacevic. Next out the door Schiefele and Wheeler to Anaheim for John Gibson and Noah Warren, Gibson is arguably equal to Hellebuyck when he is on his game, if Warren mature in to the d-man he is projected to be he will bring back the essence of Big Buff to the blueline, a big mobile hard hitting player, will never be the equal of Buff offensively, no one ever will. Those moves make the Jets bigger and harder to play against and move out the toxic core. If more moves are needed Roy will not hesitate to make them to bring this team into Stanley Cup contention, not just "making the playoffs".

  6. And with an onion on our belts as that was the style at the time. Give Craig a roundabout question; and you get a roundabout answer.

  7. The Jets have a great opportunity here. They can stockpile a bunch of picks and prospects, plus gain a ton of cap space, while cutting a chunk of fat that doesn’t want to be there out of that dressing room. You’re going to be left with Morrissey, Connor, and Ehlers to build around moving forward. You can inject some youth into the lineup and bring some enthusiasm back to the team.

  8. Jets management are more interested in the friends they make along the way, rather than a winning product.
