  1. except im sure a team thats rebuilding are gonna be desperate enough to take a shot on him and hes going in the top 10 lmao.

  2. Vancouver isn't even one of the teams meeting him this week lol.

  3. Michkovs favorite city is Chicago, he seems to be obsessed with Jordan's legacy and impact in that city, but Chicago won't pick him because of Bedard.

The second best thing he is looking for is a historic city, with the best hockey fans.

Somehow Montreal works here.. but idk his opinion on the city.

I don't think Washington is a place he wants to play because it's Ovechkin's city. He wants his own impact probably like Jordan had.

Could the Canucks be his Chicago Bulls? Idk. I feel like the fans are better in Montreal.

  4. Rather than the Jagr analogy, could this be another Lindros situation? Where he refuses to play for the team that drafts him and forces a trade elsewhere?

  5. Detroit or St. Louis could use this situation to manipulate a trade involving the Canucks. I don't think either the Blues or the Wings want to draft Michkov. But they'd like to add other assets. Arizona is also in a great position to work a deal with Washington. I still think Arizona is the team who will draft Michkov.

  6. Yeah heā€™s probably not gonna end up in Vancouver. Who knows though, itā€™s possible

  7. rumor i've heard is that michkov wants to be a blackhawk (possible lindros situation), and bedard is gonna need a wing man.

  8. Honestly as a Vancouver fan, this isnā€™t even something that excites me. Iā€™m so over the mentality of these young players thinking they have the ability to choose where they play. Yes, players have done it in the past, but what is the point even having a draft if thatā€™s the case? When will the year come where 50% of the 1st round picks are refusing to sign with their teams? Itā€™s just ridiculous to me. If he only wants to play for Vancouver or Washington, let him go to Washington imo. I want a player that every team wants, not a player who will decide where he plays.

  9. he should go to the canucks heā€™d have elias petterson 40, jt miller, and andrei kuzmenko and multiple very good prospects.
capitals have alex ovechkin evegeny kuznetzov john carlson on defense and they are very old and seem to be able to retire right now.

  10. That's honestly a pretty interesting point regarding the IG following preferences of Michkov. I absolutely think that has meaning. The problem is that he is almost certainly not going to get by Washington, so Vancouver has to be looking to move up a few slots.

  11. Itā€™s common knowledge NHL teams also use social media for their draft board. I think I actually heard a GM say a prospect wasnā€™t following anybody on their team so they werenā€™t drafting him.

  12. Habs will take him at #5. If Caps or Canucks wants Michkov, they have to pay up. The price will be 2 1st rounds + top prospect.

  13. DON''T go there Last thing this floundering ship needs is a crew member with attitude PLEASE don't And hey , He is living and working in RUSSIA …….šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

  14. Its interesting but I donā€™t believe that he is manipulating his ranking and if he is he has help make no mistake about that.

  15. in 3 years it will be 5 minutes before midnight in ovechkin's career. kuzmenko on the other hand…. i doubt vancouver is patient enough to pick him.
