The Canucks don’t have the depth to be like the Hawks of the late 2000s and 2010s when they had Keith and Seabrook in their top pairing. I’m not comparing those 2 with Hughes and Hronek, though. Having said that, since we’re rooting for a high draft pick, maybe that’s best. But knowing this organization, they’d probably play them to death until they’re injured – like what happened to Demko.

Man my interest in hockey is so much higher than football.
Hughes plays 25 plus minutes. So does Hronek. Offset them will put them together 10 minutes a night
I think he would be great with OEL and have a healthy top 4. Play them together in key moments like 5 on 3 etc.
