Protec Ducks Bantam AA sucker punch in handshake line

  1. They made us shake hands at the beginning of the game the nex season on account of a sucker punch that turned into a barn clearing brawl. Small town Canada in the early 80s was an interesting experience.

  2. If that was my kid I would call the police that’s is call assault it’s different in a game or if he was ready to fight but a sucker punch you should get charged for that crap

  3. Yes, bad sportsmanship, but how hard can you get punched without the wind up? That kid is miking it. Probably why nobody responded.

  4. This happened to me on western jr colonials state champs a lot of parents where drunk so after the situation calmed down and the game parents tried to fight it out in the parking lot funniest shit ever. I was like a mite or squirt not sure was like 6 years ago or something.

  5. Definitely a cheap shot to the stomach, but damn w/ no momentum the kid couldn’t of punched him that hard. He went down to the ice & stayed there like the kid shanked him in the gut

  6. This happened to me last week because I said some kids gf looked like a dude and he was maaaaad

  7. Maybe if they took their gloves off and truly gave each other handshakes instead of fist bumps this wouldn't have happened. Maybe hands would be squeezed hard but that's kinda part of the handshakes sometimes, no big deal. They went so fast that nobody noticed the actual punch in my opinion, so this can explain why the players didn't react much.

  8. One of the unwritten rules of the game is once the final whistle sounds and you line up to shake hands you leave everything behind on the ice. You had your time and chance to be physical and protect your guys, you don't start shit once the game is over. You can take it up again next time you face that squad.

  9. this happened when i played juniors and a riot broke out we won the fight and our team bus had a 4 police car escort out of town (the good old days 1974)

  10. Stupid cheap shot. Calling it a punch is a bit of a stretch, and the commenter who says he "slammed his fist" into the kid is really exaggerating. That said, it's a chickenshit move and a cheap shot. I hope the offender's coach was shown this video and suspended him.

  11. Youngins learning well from what their adult parent/guardians promote…likely at least one future school shooter in the bunch or at least a serious bully.
