Oilers 2022 Prospect Countdown No. 14 – Jake Chiasson

At No. 14 on our prospect countdown for 2022, we have forward Jake Chiasson.

The Oilers selected Chiasson in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Draft. While he boasts a quality profile of size, skill, and drive, Chiasson’s development has been slowed down as a combination of the pandemic and a freak injury limited him to 49 games over the past two seasons.

Chiasson will return to the Brandon Wheat Kings for his fourth and final WHL season with the goal of proving he’s worth an entry-level contract.
