Almost as upsetting as the ad: using the webbed D logo in this promo… hopefully the rumors about switching to the mighty crest full-time aren’t dead in the water

Ad is way too big, and they have the audacity to sell the jerseys with the ads on them? That’s crazy. Hopefully not the start of a new trend where fans jerseys will be plastered with ads, too.

I thought next season was going to be my last buying a jersey before Fanatics completely ruins them. I was wrong.

In terms of ads-on-jersey, its not that bad compared to but I (insert word here) hate the fact this is a thing in the league now.
Why the fuck does a property management company even need this level of marketing? Im so fed up with advertising in general. It’s fucking everywhere and I’m over it. On the helmets, on the jerseys, distracting the game with the boards animating….It’ll never be enough. It’s a level of greed that really rubs me the wrong way. It’s not a hockey league, it’s an ad agency with a gimmick. And then the audacity to put it to poppy music and pretend like this in any way is for the fans. Fuck all of this.

The promo vid shows the old ducks jerseys, so my hopes are up (?) that something else is announced at the draft party…
The sponsor logo isn’t horrible, but just the fact that we have reached this point of desperation is the end of an era. Of course the OC hockey team will be sponsored by a cash grabbing PM company with 2 stars on Google…
