  1. Drouin’s biggest problem is he has no heart!
No offensive juggernaut and a defensive liability!
Yzerman saw it early and dumped him!

  2. He’s still capable of hitting over 53 points. The year he had 53 points with us, he fell off a cliff the second half of the season which is why he didn’t score more. Will he tho? I have no idea. He’s so inconsistent and a headcase. I can’t believe we gave up Sergachev for this bum.

  3. Never been a goal scorer . Will remain a playmaker but at 5m per will they keep him around when deal ends .

  4. Excellent job panel . Yes 👍 I think Stevie Y knew the Habs were sucker s 😆 And proved right ✅. Stevie has a good eye 👁 👀 😳 for talent ,and a hard working players 👏, so when he tells everyone this player is lazy and a waist of space. With a horrible attitude. He s mr. I m entitled. The experiment is over ,it wasn't going to work ,and it hasn't, and never will. No heart in this guy . Nilan was a hard working vet ,so he was totally on the money 💰.. We as fans half to stop accepting players with that don't have the heart or are self entitled 3 rd liners that are suppose to be 1 st liners . Habs fans are some of the worst fans going . Its the new version fan that has no clue of what made this team great . The days when we as fans held Habs management accountable, they didn't pick up just under achiever s . Those days they spent the 💰 no questions asked, only the best did this team put on its roster. So time to unload Drouin in off season. And go get a player that provides a goal scorer that Drouin was paid to be . And m.b. were at a point where you as g m have been making this team a better team .Thañ you half to stay on coarse finish getting the garbage out . And go get the missing pieces. A natural goal scorer .we have tons of play makers and two way players ,now it s time for the missing pieces .A couple of goal scorers . And I don't mean what I ve seen some fans call Toffoli, Anderson and Tatar. They are not natural goal scorers ,yes they can score and are great additions. Toffoli kind of a play maker / two way player . Anderson id a power forward ,and Tatar is a Play maker . So hockey experts be careful what your saying on air cause the younger generation and the uneducated will believe you. Thats why we now have the worst fan base. The new hab fan base excuses players for horrible play. And calls players like Toffoli, Anderson, and Tatar goal scorers which their not . These player s are our better addition s ,and are better at their role than what we ve had . We have a team loaded with 3rd liners . Now these three players are a huge move in the right direction, and they will really help òur natural goal scorers when ever we get them . It s time in the next off season .we may have one with Caufield, but he shouldn't be rushed . ,and let's get Drouin and the other player s that don't want to preform out the door ,and get a goal scorer or two . Its now quite possible . Habs fan s don't accept less 👌. That's team has had some ok goal scorers in the past ,and greats with heart .Las ones Raddula ,Kovalev, Richer. Than the full hearted greats Naslund, Lafleur and Rocket Richard . So let's do it . Its time . Even Damphouse ,and koivu types would be good 👍 types. New Habs fan stop listening to media and do your home work .We now have a chance ,were so close to completing an excellent roster. Lets complete it .And start listening to players who knew what it took . The old vets know their stuff . So Bergevin please finish what you started ,all your trades since the Galchenyuk trade for Domi have all been good ones since. Your actually close to having all the pieces. Complete it that also means unload the poison . But now time for the actual goal scorers. And please stay away from the bad over lengthy contracts . Which I think you probably realize now . Contracts. No longer than 5 years .

  5. Even though Drouin didn't have any points and only one shot on goal last game, he was very good defensively no doubt but obviously if the Canadiens are going to have any chance of real success like to win it all he's going to have to produce a lot more offensively and not just in assists but in goals too and still have to be as good defensively..

To me I don't mind having him on the team but not for that salary if I was the gm if he's going to continue to perform the way he's been performing overall this season..

  6. He has a no mouvement clause that kicks in next year.
Does he get traded before which ?

  7. Drouin is not a scorer. Drouin is not a center. Drouin is not a superstar.

But Montreal/Bergevin thought he was gonna get a scoring first line center/superstar.

You cannot force someone become something they are not.

But here is a caveat – if he can be the setup man for Caufield. Put him and Caufield together with a responsible two way center like Danault. Maybe there is something there.

  8. Montreal picked him up because he was French Canadian. They were suckers because of his potential and we’ve seen his potential. You’re just not going to get anymore from Drouin than what he’s done up to now. I agree, his ceiling has been reached. This will definitely go down as one of Bergevin’s worst trades.

  9. It's difficult to fit a playmaking winger in modern hockey patterns.
This problem is compounded by Johnny's lack of pushback… He's great when everything goes his way but when his partners miss cues or the opponents lean on him he tends to crumble more than the average bear… Undoubtedly an NHL caliber but @5.5m it's hard to accept he doesn't drive plays more.

It becomes a number's game and CH has way too many bordeline to bad contracts (Price, Weber, Byron, Drouin, Lekhonen, Gallagher and soon Danault/Tatar…)

  10. "GUTLESS"…is his problem …he should play on the taxi squad!!! "PERIOD"ANNND taking up ice time for a player who wants to play.

  11. Drouin lacks testosterone. Doesn’t mind getting bitched by other players. Got a pay check, that’s all he cares about.

  12. I think it's better off trading away Drouin to save the cap and acquire someone else who can score to help the team.

  13. Another major move by MB that hasn't benefitted the habs. Big deal, but not in the best interest of the team. The HABS must rid themselves of MB in order to move in the right direction.

  14. Who do you think we won the trade? I just looked, Drouin has 2 goal 21 assists. Sergachev 2 goals 23 assists so it is very very close.
I know Drouin had some bad years that may be behind him and he is a few years older so more mature. I'm thinking Drouin.. Agree?

  15. you guys sound alot like mario tremblay…
gally isnt drouin….he shouldnt have to play like that.
    thats gallys job.
everybody is so quick to blame the players.
if i recall the habs were winning playing an open kitty bar the door style at the start…and everybodys production stalled after they started with the "system" crapola…just like last year.

drouin was on a point a game pace at the start of the season.some players should not be pigeonholed into a system because it stifles creativity on offence.
the habs seem to have a habit of doing that.
almost as if they are holding back until some of the new guys come off elc's…

who will be blamed? a skilled foward?
or a unskilled coach..that drafts badly or…ruins the defence or plays his team like julian did…
they said good with rooks, hes fresh from junior …roy is in junior.hed have won a few …more than, bumbleboy.cant win with that coach…he go bye bye soon

  16. JD started a little as a prima Donna. He approached the net without passing the puck trying to outplay the defense and failed almost every time. He improved in that level. But mind you that leading in assists has it's value too. But in this team. Things have to change. And JD should have been on the trade list. Providing anybody wants him. And as mentioned. His value could come in the playoffs. Providing. Montreal makes it. I say next season let's probe the trades and see what Bergevin can get for him

  17. Tampa was kicking themselves for a few years when they passed on Seth Jones and picked Drouin but then they suckered Bergevin into giving up on Sergachev…so all worked out well for Tampa…

  18. Drouin is literally nothing other than a drain on the team and a huge liability 99% of the time. He consistently fumbled the puck and trips on his own skates. Ship him out as fast as possible.

  19. Knuckles was right and you guys are right. He's not going to change, that's just who he is. It's more than enough to be a quality starter. He's had a couple laughable contracts but he's a good player, afaic if Gallagher can accept that then I can.

  20. if he doesn't return then we benefit from the LTR. If he does, then it is a $5.5M bust. Maybe we can get a 5lb bag of pucks and some broken baseball bats for him
