I became a fan in the late 2000s and early 2010s. I thought that was the standard of the Canucks and the last 10 years have been extremely tough

Oh I remember those super skills as a kid. They were much more fun than the actual NHL all star skills/game. Plus the players seemed to have more fun too.
The 2008-09 to 2011-12 era was lit just like the 2000-2001 to 2002-03 era. It’s been a train wreck since then. Sigh.
