Assuming that Lindholm and Hanifin want out AND the flames could reach an acceptable long term extension, flames fans, how would you feel about:
To the Avs: Lindholm and Hanifin
To the Flames: Toews and Newhook
People keep overlooking geopolitical risk.. sure theres risk associated with him leaving the KHL.. etc.. people need to think.. where is this war going.. can things get worse.. whats the chance for that..

Kadri, Huberdeau, and Weegar cannot feel good about this.
Deal with Tre in Toronto , everybody whips on Mitch Marner so 2 or 3 for 1 , like Hanifin , Lindholm and either Tanev/ Backlund or even Markstrom for Marner and a sign and trade Micheal Bunting at a number that starts with 3 or 4 AAV . Toronto gets badly needed Dmen and grittier highly skilled Forward talent , the Flames get more skill and dump some ingrates .
Mitch Love is not a loss for the Flames. Exciting times to be a Flames Fan. Fresh Blood all around. looking forward to a more youthful movement of players.

Why wouldn’t there be a limit on how many women can get elected in a year? There’s a limit on men, there should be a limit on women.
As a flames fan ive been hoping this would happen for the last couple years and conroy wants to go younger , shore up cap space bring up some guys like wolf and coronato and lotz of draft picks and prospects and maybe another vet player still putting up points im glad its finally happening
This is becoming a league wide problem. Contracts ending with one or two years before free agency is not working any more. The team that develops the players loses them just when they hit their prime. Arbitration eligibility at 24 really gives the players to much leverage. They do have to sign a long term deal and they can still force the team to pay them market rates. Sounds like agents are colluding like the owners did in the past. Another rule that should change is on extensions. Teams cannot talk extension until the final year of the contract. Teams should be able to open up negotiations at any time to extend a contract so teams can find out early if they will resign. Ultimately this is not good for the league or the fans that supported them.

I’m the guy that gets excited for a trip and has to actively stop myself from packing weeks in advance. My wife on the other hand will pull an all nighter just before we need to leave in order to pack.
