I remember my first live hockey game at the bell centre, Halak was goal tender and there were these two guys sitting behind us who were in full spirit gear (bellies and face painted, blue/red clown wigs the whole) everytime Halak would make a save they would yell out “Halak dit non tabernak!” And take a huge swig of beer. They were piss drunk by the end of the game. They made the experience 100 times better and solidified 13 year old me as a habs fan for life
This was years ago but boys if you’re out there on this sub, i tip my Habs cap to you for making my first game something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Even if they did lose 2-0 to the sens
