  1. Habs 4-Sure if Montreal is a playoff bubble team! I think his Puppy, now Dog is from Montreal. 😉

  2. We'll give Heineman, rem pitlick and a 5th. We already used the 1st and Tyler pitlick is gone so this is as close to a ctrl z as we can do.

  3. He had great chemistry playing with Suzuki and Caufield, and could be a great top/mid 6 contributor if St-Louis needs to pull out the blender. A veteran presence, with potential to be re–signed at a team friendly rate. Calgary would also be trading him in a disadvantageous position given the circumstances of their team imploding. Could be worth it.

  4. I'm a Canucks fan, and I 100% consider him to be one of those "ones that got away"

I really do think he is a great player, and most teams will be lucky to have him BUT … I expect he doesn't get traded until late next season when playoff contenders are looking to get some depth or a little extra scoring

  5. I'd love to have him back as a Canuck but I don't think that's going to happen.

  6. As a habs fan I would not trade any of our young talent to acquire him since I would hope we rebuild the right way unlike the patch work job we have been doing for the last 30 years.

  7. Man, I would love to see him back in Montreal…. damn…. A young team still needs veterans with that kind of leadership. And no, I don't expect him to be the same one he was in the past. I think we need more talents on other lines than the first

  8. If the Canadiens are able to Acquire PLD this summer for little assets, then acquiring Toffoli would be fine. We could easily be a playoff team with the addition of those 2 players, and will only get better as our young talent continues to grow. IF we dont acquire PLD, then i would not get Toffoli, as it will limit our rebuild process for no reason. We wont make playoff anyhow, so may as well finish lower rather than higher.
