Overall, we had 31 total nominations, with some users being nominated more than once. In total, we had 19 individuals who were nominated.

In order to move to a top 10 list, we first looked at post history utilizing Toolbox to review Account Age, Number of Comments in /r/stlouisblues, and number of Submissions in /r/stlouisblues to determine if the user submitted would be considered an “Active User”. From there, preference was given to users who were existing mods. 2 users were named as alternates or backups from that remaining list to get to 10, based on discussion with the existing mod team.
The final list of users who will be voted on starting on **Monday, 6/26** are as follows (and in no particular order):

Please use this thread to let us know if you were nominated and **do not** have interest in being a moderator of /r/stlouisblues. You can also use this thread to make your case as to why users should vote for you. We plan for Monday’s vote to be a Ranked Choice vote, so if you plan to vote, you can vote for your top 3 candidates.
We tried to be as objective as possible when making this list, but if you feel you were left off, please work with the new mod team once they are in place and see if they have interest in bringing in more mods.

I love y’all. I love Blues hockey. I want to make sure this space is open, provides value and important discussion for the fans.
I would love to find some ways to set up more in-depth discussion especially during the off-season where things can run a little dry.

I’ve been on this sub in some way since 2017. Have even met up with some great folks at away games through the game day threads. (Shoutout to u/mostatoastest).
I’m currently a mod of another active 50k subreddit r/OmegaWatches
I value this community as a great place to discuss Blues hockey and I want to help foster it. I’m amendable to change and very open to input from the community. I’m just hoping to help. Folks who’ve interacted with me can hopefully attest to that.

I love this list of people. If they can all be mods I’d be happy. I’m so glad I recognize all of them and have had pleasant (I know I’m me, but still) interactions with practically all of them.
Also, without remiss, thanks for everything to the current mods – you fostered a caring community and did a stupendous job. You and your work so far will always be thought of fondly. Personal shout-out to u/iPBJ, u/VladimirTarasenko, u/Deckard42 – thanks for keeping my bullshit in check and the mercy un-bans 🙂 I appreciate the transparency you all kept while doing thankless work.

I appreciate all the support and look forward to continuing to be an active member of the sub.
That said, I will admit I know nothing about moding. I have always been appreciative of the time that has gone in behind the scenes by our prior mods, but I’ll admit I’m not sure what they all even do behind the scenes. I have some ideas for what we could do with the sub, but I am not going to pretend I have a ton of knowledge on how to actually implement them. I’m not sure how many mods will be approved, so if there are more deserving and knowledgeable people I would support them. Happy to be part of the team in more of an idea user, but can’t say how hands on/technically speaking I could be.
Y’all might’ve seen me around GDT’s. I’m pretty relaxed and open to discussion. I’ve been around awhile to see how things are run around here and would like to keep it the same way it’s been. Maybe allow a few more memes but that’s about it lol.

I only threw in because no one else had done so at the time. Don’t really know anything about modding. Just hope we keep it very light touch and let people say what they want for the most part. There are probably better choices on the list.
