    I’ll take a 2C for basically free over this years 1st and/or prospects/Girard/Toews. Crazy good deal. No clue how they got full 50% retained on a two year deal either.

    I love this trade, actually. Yeah, he’s been a bit shit in Nashville, but the Avs basically got him for free and a 2C would definitely cost more than $4M a season in free agency. In Joe and CMac we trust 🫡

    Avs system seems to promote players hitting a team ceiling to breakout. If we’ve learned anything the last couple of years this could end extremely well for us and costs basically nothing.
