He's got enough raw talent to get a contract somewhere. But he's too soft to succeed in the NHL. If I were him, Europe would be a good choice with the bigger ice.
I always felt when he joined Montreal, the Habs ruined him. I can be wrong but they used him in the wrong situations, played him Center, Puts him on the point on the Power Play. Like they are using him effectively. I remember watching him when he was in Tampa. Very Dynamic Player, explosive. He would get in those dirty areas. And that was a time where Tampa was in a rebuild mode. Idk I could be wrong but I truly think Julien and the old regime messed him up
I like him and he alwasy shows flashes of brilliance. Injuries have been a major issue though. If he can stay healthy and stay on the same line i think he would still prosper in Montreal.
I knew Drouin was going to be a bust as soon as he & his agent were pulling antics with Steve Yzerman in Tampa. His under achieving play, personal problems & injury prone butt can't leave town soon enough. Maybe he can resurrect his career elsewhere, I just don't want him taking up a roster spot & cap space in Montreal anymore.
lol at all the excuses Hockey IO makes for buttercup, wonderboy just because he's french. Priceless. You ever defend a non french player this way? Nope. It's unreal some of you actually played the game with your 'woke' take on these players. Drouin has been a paycheck, spoiled player his entire career, stop making it about the pressures of his dad and being french my god
It's not injuries. It's his "mental state" and he's made more money than God but he's always been too soft mentally and physically to play the game. The comparison to Daigle is perfect.

I hope Drouin can play still somewhere, but time to move on.
Blunder by bergevin. Go easy on the sympathy card, $5 mil/ years? Here's your hat and coat, hate to see you go.
Who's the last French Canadiens player that blossomed in Montreal? Key word blossomed.

Is it me or is there a weird buzzing noise recorded throughout the video?
He just makes me have pity for him….just retire already and go and enjoy his life.
Dude could win an Art Ross…
Dude could get spat out the bottom of the league.
All the tools are still there.
He was turning it around 2019-2020 season and took that Ovechkin hit in November and was never the same
He should have been bought out years ago. Stuck with him because separatists would cry.
As a Bolt fan, I'd like to thank Montreal for Sergachev. The gift that keeps on giving. Bon Chance, Montreal!
Sorry this is a mental or a drug issue since he was in

this trade was dreadful from the start; i don't think he's part of the JG/KH picture.
not sure he has any trade value at this point.
He has talent, excellent skating ability but the injuries are too much. Who would want a player that is always sidelined with injuries?
Drouin, and K.K. the other bust. Sergachev, Brady Tkachuk who just scored his 4th in 5 games….
One of the most useless players I have ever seen on the Habs.
