  1. Honestly this team is not going to get better without trading Miller Petterson and Demko

  2. This fanbase craps on the ownership but they have bit the finacial bullet many times. We were paying 3 coaches last year for fuck sakes.

  3. I think we are going to see 2 significant moves before next season , top 4 d man and 3rd line center. ( plus a strong attempt better our 1st round draft position) I like the buy out.

  4. He was promised 1st unit pp time, then we drafted Hughes. No more 1st unit pp time.

  5. If you look at everything they have done he has done exactly what they promised. Everyone needs to shut it and let the chips fall

  6. I love reading the optimistic comments about the team and organization, I remember seeing the same comments every pre-season for years. Hilarious to see the blind leading the blind year after year, praising new management, new coaches, new overpaid players. Plugging the holes in a leaky bucket, time after time. This organization hasn't done anything to be proud of for years.

  7. Ty ownership for finally being useful for somthing. I dont blame alvin for the mistakes of benning. Myers is also up next year clearing another 7mil

  8. I just don't believe what he says these days. He's backflipped, and gone back on public statements many times in recent months. While I accept people and groups (in every walk of life) are allowed to change their minds on specific subjects, it just seems to happen too often with this management group. Months ago old father time Rutherford said we will be using multiple buyouts this offseason, then Allvin the chipmunk says we don't intend to use buyouts, then within hours of Day One of the buyout window being open they buy out OEL.
To me, in my cynical moments, this smacks of their overconfidence in being able to clear cap space and shedding bad contracts not coming to fruition and being as easy as they thought it would be when they came here. And if Allvin is trying to be "coy" or "keep his cards close to his chest" then it would be better to not make any statements at all until the deal is done. The optics are they don't have a plan.

  9. What I hate is how Benning handicap this team for years when he knew he wasn't going to be here for much longer. The owner should've told no to that trade.
