See ya!! Like you said, he’s not very good. Conner Timmins can replace Holl on a cheaper contract. I really hope the Leafs can sign Luke Schenn and go after UFA Matt Dumba. They desperately need a tip 4 D-man and McCabe is clearly not the answer.

I’ve been saying it for years that they should get rid of Holl! He sucks.. He doesn’t use his size, gets caught up the ice when he thinks he is a forward and jumps into the rush! He isn’t fast or smart enough to get back into position after joining the rush. He does it at the wrong time too. The goals he does get (once in a while) sure doesn’t make up for the amount he leaves his D partner on their own because he can’t get back in time. The Leafs we’re doing just fine in the playoffs Defensively when he was in the Press Box.. so why did they dress him and put him back into the lineup for the last few, must win games?? He sure wasn’t going to be an asset! Toss him out… any of the D we already have can do better than he does and his 2 million could be spent elsewhere on someone better than he is. Any other team would probably send him to the minors (where he should be). He sure isn’t a Top 6 D man.

Have been a fan of the Leafs for 76 years, seen them win 4 Stanley Cups, but what I have seen in the past 10+ years is pathetic at best. This organization used to have gritty,tough players that turned it on in the playoffs ( Philadelphia/Toronto in the 70’s, the 1993 Gilmor team and of course all the teams that won the Cupsin the 60’s). That is all gone, for the life of me we can talk answers all day long, I don’t think it really matters.our core four over the past number of years are awful in the playoffs. I don’t care if Mathews(11.5m), Marner(11+-m) or Nylander(11+-m) score 1000 goals in the regular season, it is what they do in the playoffs that matters.
I don’t see this organization getting any wear near the Cup before I am long gone. I think Vegas or Seattle or Florida will win it before the Leafs.
