She's the Anna Kournikova of gymnastics, very good but not great, so she's relying on her looks instead. I personally don't care how she makes money, but women have to stop accusing men of objectifying them, when they can do it all by themselves. Oh, and there are tons of hot female athletes in the world, Alica Schmidt is one of them.
So I hear it's now "creepy" for men to show up and support a female in sports? lmfao but they gonna cry about not getting the money. Women are going to keep on shooting themselves in the foot over jealousy of one another and virtue signaling. They're gonna let men play their sports and dominate the rankings taking sponsorships and scholarships and they're gonna turn men away from showing up to a sport they'd never show up to because a pretty girl is getting the attention and they themselves are not….Also imagine living in a country that pretends to care about freedom but you're not allowed to make money playing sports even if you're making that money doing things that have nothing to do with the sport..This country is beyond retarded and has no chance of coming back. It's dead and thank god for that. Hopefully we're not able to nuke anyone else out of a fit rage and anger and we just take ourselves down.

I never heard of her until a news feed link and I must say…I love this fame for her. I myself was a former nationally ranked tennis pro. I used to get that I looked like Christy Turlington and I got various modeling offers. I embraced both but on a waaay smaller scale as this was before social media. This girl is really pretty and talented. I am happy to see lots of boys idolize a talented hot girl vs just a plastic surgery hot gir (with no other skills than taking photos).
The team she has around her know that gymnasts have a limited timeframe to be successfull in competition, and then after that it's a carreer as a comentator (which Social Media Presentation is an incredible primer for) or a long career as Stunt Performer and Motion Capture Artist, or swap to obscurity and a normal queit life doing a normal job and having a normal family. The team is just maximising the earning within the competitive timeframe, follow that up with wise investment of the earnings (property portfolio, stock n shares, etc) can create a permanent income stream for the rest of her life.
Now, if she wants a challange after gymnastics, she could consider becoming an Astronaut, where her ability to move with such control and strength would give her an advantage in Zero-G.

Sorry, but I prefer winners. She is not even rated in the top 20 of female collegiate gymnasts. It is an insult to all the other talented female gymnasts to say that Oliva is the face of gymnastics. Looking forward to seeing who makes the Olympic gymnastics teams.

High up people saying that her fame and what surrounds it is a step back for women in sports are short sighted I think. With people like her you can draw in more interest -> more sponsors = more money -> better infrastructure and equipment.
