Let me know your thoughts on your expectations for the Panthers this off season
Wheeler to Florida with double retention makes a lot of sense to me. A mid round pick for the retention team and maybe a mid round pick for the Jets should be what it takes.
I don't expect Florida to be better! They as you say will be short 2 regulars at the start of the season, plus who knows how healthy Tkachuk will be! They aren't gonna take anyone by surprise like I think they did the end of last year either! So while they barely made the playoffs and got lucky, I think it will be harder to do next season, especially with other teams getting better! They aren't a bad team but aren't a great team either and rode a wave of momentum in the playoffs until hitting a wall in the finals against Vegas who turned out to be a complete team…
There are if it happens better teams wheeler can go to that could and would be interested!
