Villardi and du bois have about the same numbers and villardi is not a complainer.
Please Winnipeg take Byfield and turcott.
Villardi will also cost about 5 million less per season.

As a Kings fan I am not sure about this, especially if Vilardi is involved in the trade because he was an absolute stud last season. Iafalo I have no issue with and we just dealt Sean Durzi for a 2nd round pick from the Coyotes via Montreal. I’m confused because all I have seen from afar about Dubois is his lack of effort being highlighted and a malcontent in Winnipeg locker room and not getting along with the coach etc so what gives ? I know he was drafted very high and has talent but the move doesn’t make sense to me but I trust Rob Blake & Luc Robitaille to do the right thing. Let’s see what happens but it is definitely leaving me curious 🤨 if Vilardi is gone. I’m wondering how much money 💰 Vilardi is demanding as an RFA ? Also Todd McLellan started Byfield and Vilardi with Kopitar on the top line so I am sure he wants both of them but I’m going to have to do some homework on PLD

Dubois could play on the wing on top line. Next year Kopitar’s contract is up so he may step into a lesser role and Dubois can play center?
