Return of the Faulk?
Have seen it mentioned already, but there is a belief by some that the CAR and STL deals are connected in some fashion.
One person wondered if it had to do with salary retention.
Certainly interesting that both deals are in a holding pattern simultaneously. #FueledByPhilly

I mean if the issue with the Philly/STL deal is Krug won’t waive for Philly; maybe Krug is trying to get spun to a good team. Krug would be a much better addition than Faulk or DeAngelo. But STL probably needs to retain
I would love Faulk as a Skjei replacement if it came to that
Probably that we don’t get TDA unless philly gets Krug

Where would he fit though?
Why do I have this feeling the trade ends up like this:
Canes get- Hayes, Krug
Blues get- TDA(50%retained), Pesce
Flyers get- 6th rounder from each
I have a feeling Canes want one of Sanheim or Krug and maybe the Canes buyout a half retained TDA?
