  1. 6:34 yep, thats exactly what it is. Gruden drafted Jacobs, not these NE guys. They have zero ties to this RB from a previous regime.

  2. Seeing dense minded people complain about this is more amusing than the video itself.

  3. These clowns mentality are the problem. When someone says it's not themselves. It's not about themselves and he should take the money and blah blah blah. No bro, you take a stand for what YOU believe is right, no matter how that works out it's what YOU believe is right. THAT'S 10:16 WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT IS STANDING ON WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN.. He's going to be a millionaire regardless. Running backs and lineman take a beating out there and they should be compensated more than QBs or WRs. The QBs and Wrs wouldn't even have a chance of doing anything offensively without your OL and running back blocking.

  4. Even if he takes less money and is used less frequently. It's still a win for him, his body and his brain.

  5. Josh Jacobs will have suitors. Let's say he does this and Raiders do that then you have two high quality RBs on the market and Jacobs would be the best. At a minimum I think he makes the franchise tag amount. So, basically he does not have anything to lose.

  6. Florio is wrong. There a few teams who would go to 10mil especially if they could spread it vs a direct hit.

  7. This doesn't get fixed at the veteran level. It gets fixed at the rookie contract level. The only way to incentivize teams to keep RBs long term is to make the rookie option not as tempting. Rookie RBs contracts need to be more performance based with potential to go pretty high. This would pay rookies RBs more in line with what they're worth and give veterans a better leg to stand on during negotiations since the cheap rookie RB option isn't there. Unfortunately this will likely push RBs even farther down draft boards. The position itself is in trouble. It's just too easy to find someone who can do the job at a similar quality and since the position is so brutal its just easier to have 3 cheap guys then 1 good expensive guy. Even if the quality falls off.

  8. Ironically, it isn't as if they can't pay these guys because the money is there. It's the conversation about the position that's hindering its actual value.

  9. If I was Jacobs I would hold out. And if they released me I would play for less than the tag amount for someone else if I had too! He has already proven his value and should be paid by the Raiders. They gave Renfrow a $32M two year extension and Jacobs production brings double the value to the team. Something isn't right with the NFL negotiations….I smell a rat!

  10. Rb's are not relative anymore. You draft younger legs. When Rbs get there payday, they no longer produce. Look at Gurley, Zeke, Bell. It almost better to say by, and draft another guy.

  11. Running backs in the NFLPA should demand higher pay on the front end of their contracts. While they're fresh

  12. I knew Tony P was an ego maniac. Dallas should sign Cook and send Pollard to the gulag of FA with Zeke😂😂😂
