    I stopped in the middle of the heat to see the comments. As a Brasilian I was expecting fairness. As a world member I want to see fun surf. But to many high scores for simple rides for the American. I understand that the us want to be number one in everything but let's be true. The Brasilian have more style more surf and more energy everytime. I wrote in English because it's better for the world to understand and try to keep up the fairness by giving fair scores independent what country you're fron! Valeu Brasileiros vcs Sao foda. We just proved who is better in Rio. Q venha mais.

    Wanted griffin to win but Felipe looked a lot more explosive and cleaner and sharper on his top waves than griffin’s. Felipe won by everyone’s eyes (casual fans or core fans).

    Both great surfers , but judging was off, I think Toledo won. Griff was overscored with the 9 and his basic frontside air should not have overscored Toledos 2nd spin air.

    I don’t like conspiracy theory but it seems like big american corporations is behind the WSL forcing high score on mediocre surfing and mediocre score for high surfing talent and skills.
    I’ll never watch any more surfing completion again or buy any surf product or brand that support this kind of unethical SHAMEFUL WSL. Done. WSL go f yourself
