  1. Yes agreed olofsson is too one dimensional and Bryson is too small sooo hopefully they will be traded this summer.
Dahlin will most likely get 10 million for 8 yrs and Power 7 million for 8 yrs.
I think Adams will definitely either trade for or sign a UFA stay at home D man to partner( UFA-Mayfield, Graves Dumba Soucy or logan Stanley or trade for Peekie or Pesce) Owen Power to improve the defence .
Question is will Adams go with UPL and Levi in net ( comrie to Rochester) this Oct or is Adams looking to trade UPL because of his inconsistent play last season? Hart? Gibson ?
Lastly i think Rousek and Kullich ( Savoie back to Winnipeg or Washington where ever they moved to) will make the Sabres this season providing Olofsson is gone.
Thanks for the video Wayne. BIG Week this week with the draft and free agency on Saturday!

  2. I'm not that high on power getting that much YET… His resume is just not where Rasmus's or even Mattias's is yet. Also, He's a RFA next year.. but he's not offersheet eligible either. Adams does not have to push to get his deal done unlike that of Dahlin. Everybody seems to think he'll get big money.. but his stats nor his play say he should get them yet.. oh, the signs were there that if he signs a 3 year deal now.. the next one will probably be a big on.. but he's not there yet. He'll he's only played 1 season (+8 games)… his resume is not all-star worthy today.. so stop giving him Thompson money when he's probably due more like a 3 year Samualsson money.. then in 3 years… Yeah, his resume will probably be Dahlinesque.

  3. I wouldn’t count out Power signing a Tage $ contract. Dahlin is worth 10 mil if he signs for anything less is magic.

  4. Did we win the Stanley Cup? Make the play-offs? Then roster spots are open.

  5. I wouldn't say we "lucked out" With Kevyn until after this off-season, if he gets us a solid top 4 d-man then I might be on board with that, but I'm still skeptical he will make any moves, if he just signs some depth players and keeps pretty much the same team as last year and were 10 million+ under the cap again… I dunno man, what team sits that far under the cap and is serious about winning a Stanley Cup?

  6. If Ollofsson played with a good two way center he wouldn’t be -40, playing him with Fats was brutal. Neither know how to backcheck

  7. Owen power is a one year wonder.
Tyler Meyers without a Calder Trophy.
Tall….soft …..skilled. He has proven nothing.
Wait to the second half of the year after Dahlin is resigned.
    Show us more.

  8. Thankfully, folks from other fanbases have come around on Samuelsson. THG has been helping with that. He often mentions how good Samuelsson has been for Buffalo and how he is a dark-horse for the team's MVP.

  9. It feels to me that we are building a younger more sustainable version of the 2015/16 predators but with a much higher ceiling. Our D corp is starting to resemble the Josi, Ekholm, Ellis trio. Levi is maybe a few years from filling shoes similar to Rinne, but I think our forward group has loads more talent than the Predators did during those playoff runs. They were running out of time due to age but we are going to be racing the cap trying to get this core group locked in long term. It’s hard not to get excited when the future is clear for the first time since 2006.

I have a hard time seeing them move #71. I see his lack of value in regards to clogging up the roster but at the end of the year his stats are pretty good for his cap hit. He may be a one trick pony but it’s a valuable trick.

Looking forward to seeing who’s available on Wednesday for us! Keep up the good work Wayne
