So I guess the only question now is do we use the pick to move up or to move down?

The correct decision. Very curious to see who’s available at 11.

Allvin on June 29th: “I said I ***expected*** to stay at 11 …”

I don’t want him at 11 but I think they taking Willander

This was the most likely outcome. You rarely see teams trade off top 10 picks leading up to the draft unless it’s a ridiculous offer.

He also said he didn’t plan on buying out anyone, so I’ll believe it when I see it. This team is allergic to draft picks.

Keeping the pick is always the most likely outcome.

That said, I’ll believe it when Vancouver picks at 11. If the picks going to move, it’s because a GM makes a last minute offer you can’t refuse.

This is total BS! usually they always give the media friendly answer… “We are always looking at ways to improve the team, YADA,YADA,YADA… Look at the evidence… see the bottle of water? looks awfully yellow… hes been chewing tobacco… and slacking… where do we start the fund for the plane banner across vancouver to fire this off season enjoyer?

Are you telling me he isn’t telling the media his exact plans?

  10. *The ghost of Benning*:

Garland (2 YL), Myers (1 YL) and 11th overall for Erik Karlsson (4 YL) and 500k retained.

“We acquired a defenseman who can come in right away and help this team.”

“Are you worried about signing Elias Pettersson’s extension?”

“Oh shit… *picks up phone* Hey Lou, how do you feel about adding another centerman?”
