    Hopefully the “other components” are Philly retains some salary. Hayes at a 3.5 annual cap hit is great. Hayes at 7.1, not so much

    This is a awesome deal. 6th rounder for a guy that stabilizes our biggest weakness. This gives Alexandrov and dean some security to attempt to be every day guys. If they have a good camp/do well when their number is called, maybe we can bounce schenn back out to wing. But at the least we at least we have our top 9 figured out

    Love this move. If we signed a scoring center for 3×3.5 in free agency to fit in our middle six we would be jumping for joy. He’s 6’5” and scored 50 points last year he’s a solid insurance for our young guys coming up and kapanen and vrana.

    Holy shit this is a great deal. I thought it would be a much higher pick going the other way. Hayes for $3.5 for 3 years for basically nothing is unreal and a much better deal than anything in FA.

    Could a third team be be taking a player/prospect from the Blues and shipping a bunch of picks to the Flyers? I am really struggling to see any kind of fair value for the Flyers here, this seems like an absolute torch job by STL at face value
