Kevin Hayes to the Blues for a 6th round pick, Flyers retain 50% salary
The #Flyers are in the process of completing a trade to send Kevin Hayes to #stlblues.
They are retaining half of Hayes' salary for the remaining three years of his deal, resulting in a cap hit of $3,571,428 for STL.

Man, tough crowd. Before today, this forum was filled with “no Hayes” all over the place, even when the rumor was that Philly was going to hold on to $2M of his salary. So another deal gets done and all of a sudden we missed out on him? I wish we could have gotten him because he and Gaudreau on the same line in college was magical- like 1.5 points/game.
I would rather have Jack as the 2/3 centerman
