Shocking for Lou to actually say this publicly but the Islanders are from alone in this predicament. Plenty of teams right up against the cap for this same reason.
Does feel that they could have adjusted to how they operate based on something that was discovered 3 years ago however.
No one really complained about those deals, which mind you came in under market value. Nelson is a 2C for 5mil/AAV. Lee had to get resigned as our captain. Pageau has value that isn’t on the score sheet.
Having Tavares and or Panarin at 11mil would seriously hamstring us.
Snow signed Bailey, not Lou.
