Dubois Traded to Kings for Vilardi, Iafallo, Kupari and Draft Pick
The Los Angeles Kings acquire forward Pierre-Luc Dubois from the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo, Rasmus Kupari and a 2nd-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft
Bad enough losing 2 guys coming off of career seasons, but also giving a solid top 6 guy and a blue liner, for what? 1 2nd line center that hasn't done anything yet, and the Kings lock him in for 8 years and $8.5 million? Unreal.
I really hope this turns out well for the Kings. They gave up a lot and PLD hasn't showed me he gives it his all. Hoping that is because he was not thrilled about being a Jet.
Yes, there were more highlights of the Kings players, but we’ll have to wait to see how well PLD meshes with the rest of the Kings team and his line mates. Iafallo and Vilardi played together on the same line so they had a lot of chemistry. And I will say, I’m going to miss Kupari. I’ve been really impressed with him. Fortunately, Vilardi and Kupari are RFA and who knows, the Kings may bring them back…
Not a fan of either team but I do not understand why the Kings gave up this much for a player that at most only had 63 points and is a cry baby apparently .. I hope he works out

Jets got a lot for a unloyal player. Kings have one bad season and I bet he asks for a trade.
