If Asham wasn't so dirty, he would've been a good hockey player. He had hands, he was an okay skater, he could hit, fight, and crash the net. And, when he was placed on a line with superstars like Giroux, he could handle the passes and be where he needed to for those stars to make use of him. But he let his temper ruin his career.
Iโve watched this several times and it never fails to make a lump appear in my throat thinking about watching these games with my dad who has passed away since then. He would always say โ give it to the rocket man and let him shoot a rocketโ referring to Pronger.
