    Hopefully the price is low and he comes at a retained cap hit. He had 14 goals last year.

    Z has been really good in Calgary and I’d love it if he could play like that for the Leafs.

    Only thing that gives me pause is somehow Gudbranson looked like an okay player and had decent underlying numbers in the Sutter system, then immediately went back to being shit when he went to another team.

    Zadorov looks strikingly similar to Polak in how he acts on the ice. Polak on the Leafs 8 years ago ensured no one messed with Kessel, if we can get him here for cheap, maybe he is what fixes the issue of players not willing to stand up for their team mates. Imagine having at least one of Schenn, McCabe, or Zadorov on the ice at all times. I’d like to Tkachuk or Bennet try anything then
