2 years in a row the player I want isn’t the one they pick but once again I will give our guy a chance, he seems like a good kid and I think he will be a great player for us.

When looking at other teams around the 5-10 range I’d also prefer to be picked by Montreal. Arizona, ok bud. Philly is going in a full blown rebuild. Washington days of glories are in the past with no prospect coming up to help. Wouldn’t mind Detroit but the city is pretty bad. Blues are a weird team that seems to wanna be a bubble team forever, old Montreal vibes. The Canadiens are midway through the rebuild with a top 3 prospect pool in the league.

That’s what I wanna see, “I’m the first one picked, now I want to prove why”. Attitude has been a center piece of the rebuild since day one between both GMs and it seems to continue.
