Nothing against Willander at all, but it’s hard to feel like this draft isn’t cursed when we all just had to watch Connor Bedard put on a Blackhawks jersey because we were off by a single lottery number.

Hear all the time we’ve drafted Swedes and never won a cup but I think we just haven’t drafted enough Swedes.
The vast majority of pro defensmen are coming from pro euro leagues or the NCAA. We now get the hybrid of both. Fills a positional need, but also could come out as a very safe pick. Could very well be Ohlund 2.0
