  1. Steve seemed a bit high strung here. Probably needs to get some weed tonight and chill out.

  2. The blind faith has to have limits. This was the time to spend some assets to acquire a star. And here we go collecting prospects again. I am sick of it.

  3. Can't wait to see what Axel and Nate can provide us for the future. Welcome to Detroit!

  4. We need more out of a prospect than 'solid' and 'two-way'; better not sign any players that make our team better next year, because we'll need to be back in the top 10 again to have a chance to swing at some HIGH END TALENT and SCORING. Try, try again next year Steven. Does Drapey-doo have any more family to waste draft picks on next year?

Again, we need HIGH END TALENT, not draper-type, low ceiling players. Maybe we need a new set of eyes if that can't be understood.

  5. I am 39 and watched Stevie Y play my whole life in Detroit and have full faith/confidence his experience as a player with IQ along with GM experience drafting I believe Lord Stanley will be back in Detroit 3 years max

  6. Well I love the Pellikka pick. Really don't care for Nate, but he wasn't a name I really knew, I wanted Moore. XD
This is how most folks reacted to the Mo pick though, so let's wait and see. Just wish they would have went more upside vs floor.

  7. I absolutely love how he interviews. Always so intentional about word choice. Also, I think he likes Helene about as much as Bertuzzi likes Helene. This also entertains me.

  8. You can tell the point he switches to business mode- when he’s asked about Daniel. His tone immediately changes to be more serious.

3:53 he has Twitter open on his phone lol

  9. Steve is creeping me out lol he just knows he killed it and won't say but he just giggles lol

  10. SO F***ING TIRED OF THE DEBRINCAT TALK AND PROPOSALS, STOP PLEASE!

Yzerman rarely drafts small players who aren't good defensively so why would he trade PREMIUM assets for one who is going to want almost 10 million for 8 years. Debrincat not a playoff type of player and will literally get manhandled in the corners. He's not winning many puck battles. Only 5 foot 7, Soderblom is literally a foot taller than him and was 7th in SHL goals. Goalscoring should be the LAST thing you address once goalie, defense and center are set. In 4 or 5 years when the Red Wings really need cap space to keep their young players that contract could be terrible. If he wants to sign as a UFA for a slight hometown discount without a NTC in the later years that's one thing, but trading any top prospects or picks for him is STUPID. Would be an extremely impatient move and that's what all the other dumb GMs do is get impatient. The only players Yzerman drafted on the team are Seider and Raymond, have a little patience people. Wings aren't even at the stage of being a young exciting team yet, teardown JUST finished with Bert and Hronek gone. They could bottom out again next year and get a top 10 or even top 5 pick and I would be fine with that, it would be better in the long run. Yzerman playing chess and the other GMs playing checkers. This team will be an absolute powerhouse again one day and they will be at the top for a LONG time.

I give absolutely ZERO F**S if he's from Michigan, WHO GIVES A *** IF HE'S FROM MICHIGAN. Yzerman not evaluating players on sentimental value.
