Iโll miss Jimothy. Really glad he stuck around through the bad years and got his cup here. It is sad to see that core starting to dismantle with him and EJ.

I’m not surprised, this is gonna be JT’s cash out opportunity and I can’t imagine he’s gonna be worth what someone like Chicago is gonna pay him.
Chicago they get a local boy, Stanley Cup champion, and veteran leadership without little concerns about production.
As frustrating as he can be muffing a perfect pass from MacKinnon or Rants this year, he’s had some clutch moments and is always a hard worker, wishing him the best moving forward!

Kinda amazing the comments in here. JT was the one player in our bottom that turned it up a notch and delivered about expectations for us. Maybe his overall FO was not great, but it seemed to be he worked on it through the season to become a specialist and was one of the few we had that was on the positive side for games in the second half of the season.
Probably due to having a good season will go for more than what we want to pay…but I will miss him and appreciate how he stepped up for us in this weird, injury filled, first in the central finish season.
Was really hoping weโd keep him but I get the cap space isnโt much and he deserves a big bag of money. Heโs been one of my favorite players to watch on the ice. Wish him all the best.
Does this end the Oreilly trade tree for the avs?
I donโt know. I just donโt think the market is there for Compher and his best option is to ask for 3×4.5 from the Avs.

Loved me some Compher during his time here and was one of my favorite depth players where even in his down year, I never gave up on him. He came in from the ROR trade and endured the shit on Avs 2016-2017 season to where he grew to become one of the players that could be your Swiss Army Knife. Glad that he won the Cup and we were able to make our end of the ROR Trade from 2015 be a productive piece that won us the Cup,
Good luck in the future Compher and maybe be on the same line as Bedard if itโs Chicago you end up at.
