    How do we feel about Cristall at 35? I know his skating is terrible but he I’ve seen he can be be a points machine and Bedard’s bestie.

    This is my first draft as a Hawks fan (and I’m from England so the draft is taking a bit to get my head around haha). Any idea who/what positions we want to target with our 2nd round picks?

    Really hoping we can add some size to the forward crop in these next two rounds and in 2024. I am loving what we are building so far, with the main focus on skill/skating/compete, but at some point we are going to have to mix in some more physical talent.

    Even if they pan out as individual talents, can you win the Cup with only 6’ or under guys in your top six? I don’t really think so… I could see a Reichel-Bedard-Nazar (or something… wingers would be TBD) line having success in the way that the Triplets did for TBL in 2015, but I don’t think you can model the entire top six that way, right?

    Also, random thought – I will be genuinely shocked if Davidson picks four times in this second round lol I have a feeling after no deals yesterday, the trade dam will burst and teams will be willing to run around with deals. We should either move up from one of the 50’s pick into another 30’s, or even just move one or two of the seconds for stronger/more picks in 2024 and 2025. Or just drafted prospects lol
