Klim Kong Kostin is a beauty. Red Wings need players like him, and a fan favorite in Edmonton.
Yamamoto n berrgen can get wings 50 + points next yr..n klim can bring wings much needed toughness n upside
Great Players?? lol!! yeah id pump the breaks on that one
๐ ๐ถRed Wings, My Red Wingss.. ca'mon Wingss Let's Fly!.. ca'mon ca'mon Wings, Let's FLY!!๐ท๐ค๐ถ
๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
they didn't get him for nothing .. if detroit signs kostin they will owe edmonton a pre agreed amount probley a pick next year … if they can't sign him .. they will still owe them something for yamamoto again probley a pick .. just less than if they have both players on their team
Detroit Red Wings Love Ex St. Louis Blues Players Klim Kostin Another One They Have Gotten That Use To Play For The Blues. I Always Liked Him In St. Louis & Didn`t Want To See Him Go.
We know you are a Detroit or Stevie Yverman fanboy. This was a pure salary dump that Detroit took on. It is common when you have a cap crunch.
Great players ๐๐๐๐ get a clue
Fleece Yzerman!
Edmonton gets cap space stevie gets some guys he might be able to flip
Kyler Yamamoto did nothing all season and playoffs. As well kostin cost too much oilers could not afford him. Seems like a perfect trade to me. You are being very generous with the use of the word great.
For Freeeeeee ๐
This trade is an L for Edmonton. Kostin was going to be cheap to resign, so getting rid of him is stupid. If there's any player that needs to go, it's Ceci. Buy him out.
Not free. About a 5 million dollar cap hit. Click bait title.
Please not amazing….Wavier wire pick ups at best. How did they do in the playoffs ohh ya never mind lol
Kostin going to the khl and yamo isnt great. I thought you knew hockey???
I hope that they work out as well for Detroit as Kris Draper and Larry Murphy, two other players who were traded to Detroit for basically nothing!
(OK, we did have to trade $1 for Draper. Best dollar that the Red Wings ever spent).
Obviously there are many players we signed as free agents, but I am talking about trades.
Even in the Nedelkjovidch trade, we had to give Carolina a third round draft pick, along with rights to a player who would become an unrestricted free agent two days later. The about-to-expire contract can also count as "effectively nothing" like the $1 for Draper, but the draft pick is still something.
Word was Edmonton was going to buy out Yama and they throw in Kost as a Sweetener
So when Vegas trades away players, everyone is "OMG, Vegas has no loyalty, terribly run organization". But when other teams trades their players, its "wow great trade" SMH I'm just glad Vegas has the cup to shut some of these haters up
4.1M cap space > 2 'great players'
The Yzerman tinted glasses are getting scratched up. This defense is so bad but he loves those bottom 6 forwards. Also we need a goalie. husso is a backup
Oh my god, the Wings are struggling
We love Klim. Sad to see him go. Good for Detroit though.
As much as i like holland . Really detroit .. anybidy see anything wrong with this ?
I'm not sure this will be the end for this trade. I can see using one or both of these players to sweeten the pot for Debrincat. Just a random thought when I saw this trade happen.
Yamamoto is damn good!!
Does this mean incomming Carlsson Trade?
nurse contract is ruining everything for the oilers
Been following Kostin for awhile, glad we got him. He is a beast. Yamamto and Kostin will produce fine for the Wings this season. We just need a caliber D men, Erik Karlson and snag Artem Grushnikov from Dallas. I still want DeBrincat and i know Yzerman will cough up that first draft from bertuzzi trade somehow before weekend. Goalie, would sign Alexy Lyon.
two slugs sent down the road for cap space
