How Wayne was misused in his time in TO, especially the past two playoff runs, gave me serious doubts about the management and coaching within the organization. I'm in my 7th decade cheering that sweater and it was as deflating watching that happen as it was watching Harold Ballard suck the life out of the team in the 80s. Oh, and to hell with Austin Watson. The Leafs need look back at the Gilmour/Clark years or the Roberts/Tucker/Corson years for some inspiration. They have top tier talent but need to surround them with enough grit and heart that other teams think twice before running their stars.
8 points in 108 playoff games that's a big pass in my opinion.
