[Friedman] As you would expect, there will be a new contract for Corey Perry in Chicago. Not a shocker if it is in the one-year, $4M range that Nick Foligno signed after being traded from Boston

Nice. Can get rid of him at the end of the season easy peasy
Corey Perry eats yogurt with a fork
I mean…. Is he really going to be applauded at the UC? I just can’t picture what that’s going to be like
We all don’t like him now but when he punches a guy in the back of the head for poking Bedard we’ll all love him
Fucker doesn’t deserve 4M
I’m into it. I always hated the guy, but he’ll bring great veteran leadership. Caufield and Suzuki both said that he was a great mentor for them in Montreal.
He’s one of those guys who you hate unless he’s on your team. All past sins will be forgiven the moment he cheapshots a St Louis player for fucking with Bedard.
I wouldn’t want him on the roster for the league minimum. Yuk
Yeah yeah fuck Corey Perry and all but Bedard is going to be surrounded by some great veteran presences after all these signings. Perry has seen a thing or two and has also had to adapt to different situations and roles as his skill diminishes with age. He had years where he was scoring 40/50 and years where he was grinding on the fourth line. He’ll be a great veteran for Bedard to look up to, I guarantee it
