  1. How the HELL is this controversial??? Jared jus a human being and Roy a real 1 that been thru it….Long story short JARED BY KNOCKOUT OR STOPPAGE!!!mite b early.

  2. I love he was willing to show his vulnerability, a man of that stature , willing to show emotions and be vulnerable at such a young age is one that will welcome the process of greatness .. this kid is going to be a problem for boxing

  3. So this is where he gets the name big baby from. No disrespect but whys he crying about pressure and getting emotional he literally has not even fought any top names and not evem fought the top fighters yet if he thinls thats pressure whats going to happen when he is in big fight with a big name. Not hating he has time to work his way tp the top and fight big names i think he can be up there if he is committed but it doesn't seem to me like this is his life choice but since he is decent at it is going ahead with it. If you ain't read to ride the horse get off now, or stop getting emotional stay on give 100% and get ready to gallop.

  4. I'm glad to see Roy Jones Jr. Isn't showing signs of CTE like a lot of other fighters. Makes me happy to see him thriving and able to help other fighters with his wisdom.

  5. I'm rooting for Jared, not only for this Saturday, but in life! Let's go champ!

  6. This was like a movie! Wow 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥹

  7. This was one of those rare landmark interviews with an up & coming generational talent. This kids not afraid of any man. This is scary because, like he said, he's just 23 & everything is changing for him at light speed. That makes ya dizzy. We tend to think that mastering your craft is the had part, but that's just the begining. The toughest part is dealing with everything that comes with it ! This kids got heart in more ways than one. It feels like he's another Joe Lewis to me. I can see him not only being the champ, but dominating the Heavyweight decision for as long as he wants, but he's gotta want it !

  8. I was shocked when I heard that Jared Anderson contemplated early retirement. The man hasn't even reached his prime yet & he's only 23. Hopefully people like Roy can bring the best out of the young man.

  9. Too bad!! You gotta ride it! Props to Roy for looking that young man in the face and telling him the TRUTH! Too many times as parents, mentors we sugar coat things. Just stop, be real, be genuine and tell them not what they want to hear, not what they need to hear but the honest truth!

  10. If this guy ends up being "the" heavyweight champ undisputed, he's going to remember and go back to this moment proud AF! But this is also kind of a weird vibe… it just sounds like he doesn't want to fight anymore! That he's tired of the pressure… the mind is definitely a powerful thing and he might end up loosing focus. Let's see…

  11. This is so Cringy to watch. Jared Anderson is a show off. Talking about him self in 3rd person. “Jared never asked for this” yea you did when you started competing and decided to go pro!!! He’s obviously just showing off again… and roy is falling for it. CRINGE!!!!

  12. Jared is open and honest, too bad that lack of passion is going to be why he s not going to be as great as people expect im to become.

  13. Wow. This emotional stuff right here that you don't see too often in boxing.

  14. He didn't mention his father? Just make mama proud? What about dad? 😳😬

  15. I met Anderson in person walking by himself at the Garden. And he was really down to earth. He does seem like he doesn't like attention. Now that I reflect on the day

  16. Anderson isn't the future this is promotional hypejobin at its best.
    Great video however.
I respect where jared has come from but i know if he takes someone on like makhmudov
It will not go very well for him.
Eventually jared will fight top guys and hes almost there however i see flaws and dirty tactics that jared uses.
Makhmudov vs Anderson is on the table for Top Rank if both of them Win in a few weeks

  17. That's what 1 of the greatest doo unlike floyd take the whole thing and make it about himself!!!
