Wayne Gretzky does not like how long it is taking Evgeny Kuznetsov to score his slow shootout goals. Gretzky thinks the NHL needs to make a 8-9 seconds time limit for the shootout. I think that the NHL is going to be pressured into making a decision if they’re going to create a time limit rule.

I like them, hes not breaking any rules and it is working for him.
The players would not put up with a player doing the Michigan back in Gretzky's time when he played. They would attack Zegras LOL. Hockey has changed a lot and is more skillful.
Why should there be a time limit. Its a shootout for a reason

I agree with Gretzky, there should be a timer. There is a huge disadvantage to the goalie when the players can just move in as slow as they want.
This is a tactic that legally and literally any shootout player could use but they don't because they know it's not fair to goaltenders. I agree with gretz on this one
Creativity?? Seriously that's what you're standing on lol these are the least creative shootout attempts I've seen… Creativity comes with speed!
Not fair for the goalie LOL. Goalies should expect this from him so the goalies should be ready for it. I find it very strategic of Kuzzy. It's just another thing for the older generation to bitch about.

Good players would be able doing this even within 8 sec. Glad that you can not rule all kinds of creativity away.
It's not creative it's consistent. There's still plenty of room for nasty moves in 3 less seconds
