I know we all want high scoring players drafted cause it’s bin so long since we’ve had it on the team but I don’t understand all the hate on the kid he’s still going to be good for the team.
Many these clowns might want to take a look at Vegas and see that team is built on strong defence and let’s not forget the habs teams of the 70’s with the big 3 patrolling the blue line .

I think habs draft for a stanley cup instead win a art Ross. Culture is important for them. We see team like Toronto unable to pas the first round of playoff with superstar. Washington take forever to win. Balanced like blues

Being disappointed is one thing but idiots sending hate messages makes me embarrassed to be a Habs fan and is not cool at all. I'm 100% onboard for Reinbacher over Michkov, I was not on that bandwagon. Hutson is going to need a solid defensively partner to back him up and be his right hand man on the point…well he just got drafted. His initial thought was to go back to the Swiss league for a year but soon was unsure, said he could finish school online. The BS hate stuff might make him go back for a year of the Swiss league.
He solidifies/completes the Dcore, that RD spot sooner or later needed attention and management is convinced that that player just showed up free for the taking. Trading for a top RD would cost you. This guy is going to be really good.
I have a good feeling about Fowler, reports and clips make him look promising.

yes the hate to reinbacher is just so bad and wrong…but this is a wrong move…if really Nashville offered Askarov ( an amazing goalie prospect 11th overall in 2020) and the 15th and 24th overall for our 5th??..it was a no brainer…cmon….we could have add a great prospect in goal and take Perreault and Gauthier at 15 and 24…how can they refused that trade?? how?

I was disappointed but not angry at first, then it took me less than an hour to really analyse the situation. It was then that I came to the conclusion it was a smart move.

Anyone who would engage in this isn’t a Habs fan. They are a loser who probably doesn’t know much about hockey. This draft won’t be truly judged for 3-5 years. The kid they have fallen in love with May never play in the NHL. He may play but May fall far short of the generational player some people project him at. Or, he may score lots but have a plus/minus so bad that he is a liability when he’s on the ice. Young Mr Reinbacher could become the next Markov or Josi and could be part of the 2025 or 2026 Cup winning Habs defensive wall. I’m curious what these geniuses are basing their lofty opinion of other potential draftees? Their in-depth research of the player, his strengths and weaknesses, his style of play or listening to a couple talking heads on TSN? Back off from Reinbacher and all the other prospects. I won`t lie, i hope Gally get traded to get alot more cap space I know he`s the team kinda pillar but his contract too big and we dont need that anymore, just like dvorak or hoffman they both need to go and get some better veterans to circle around the younger guys like wheeler or even another top veterans would be the best (MY OPINIONS JUST SAYING)

I was of the fans hoping to get a top forward or a good bundle for the 5th overall (the Askarov offer could have been awesome). But in hindsight, I can picture having the best defensive core in the league and being a very hard team to play against. Let's be patient!
