  1. So I’m not the best at evaluating talent. But taking the best defenseman in the draft with Axel sounds like a great idea. I’m all for that. I feel Charlie Stramel and Oliver Bonk are early 2nd round picks then late first rounders. But either of them can be had by the Blues at #29 easily if they wanted to. With #25 I would do LW Quentin Musty. For #29 my top 2 choices would be either RW Koehn Ziemmer or D Lukas Dragicevic.

  2. On the last episode of the show under the old host, it was brought up that Doug Armstrong in his postseason press conference made some comments about the blues, possibly not using a captain this year… What are your thoughts about that? Do they have a captain going into next year? If so, does it come from within the franchise already order? Is it because of a big future move that brings somebody in or is sticking with everybody just having. the A on their sweater a real possibility? Thank you for bringing the show back. We are happy to have you moving forward let’s go blues!

  3. Future is bright?

Goaltending was average to poor last season.

    Defense needs major overhall.

    Forward position was weak

  4. Great Job! Sound quality is much better than it was previously. The next few Seasons should be very exciting even if the blues struggle for a year or two.

  5. hey I just saw you as the new host. Great job and appreciate you doing your research. This team is going to be going through growing pains for the next few years. Keep up the wonderful work!

  6. I think axel would be a great pickup at the 10 spot! My two cents would be that the blues have a history of drafting ‘safe’ in the first round and usually someone who is bigger and already showing defensive responsibility. I’m willing to bet that they’ll draft dvorsky or danielson to get a center that fits that identity.

  7. While I greatly appreciate the new host and sound quality 👌 ✨️

There are some real overlooked story lines and happenings excluded in this segment.

The Sammi Blais scoring being down.. I think he went 50 plus games without a goal. It's easy to overlook that because he was on the rangers roster at that time. I think the night he played his 1st game back in st louis I was at that game. He scored on his way out of the penalty box.

    Vrana & kappi
Vrana was a "project pick up" from Detroit this season.
He spent most of the season in the players assistance program. His scoring was down because he wasn't playing games.
Kapanen was picked up on waivers from Pittsburgh. Per their reporting they struggled to find a way to utilize him in their line up. That translates to reduced ice time and playing a lesser role aka less scoring.

The glaring overlooked issue with this team is defense 😳
The contracts signed in that sector, their term and the injuries in that department are terrible.
Honestly I want Colton to be moved. He's not a terrible player but he doesn't fit this mold. We don't need another Jake Allen type hold out on a lack luster performance. Who remembers the long over drawn time at redemption we gave him?

Honestly I don't think they can but start putting a clause in these dman contracts that if you miss an entire season due to undisclosed injury the team can nullify the contract.

That or stop signing 28+ year old dman to 4+ year contracts
