Been a Devils fan since 91ā, and aside from the 3 Cup wins, this is the most excited Iāve been in a while as a major fan. This past season was amazing, and seeing how much players want to be on the Devils now is crazy. Hockey is the only sport I follow and the Devils are my team so Iām just beside myself currently. Gonna be a great long run for the Devils where hopefully we can bring the Cup home another 3 or more times. If we can sign John Scott for a long term contract weād get the Cup for at least 8 years back to back to backā¦ā¦.
The amount of players taking less to stay with this team is encouraging to say the least. Both of these guys would've gotten more on the UFA market just like Timo, Haula, Bratt etc.
Fitz deserves credit but also gotta give credit to these guys for seeing the big picture.
