You guys are way off the mark regarding Gibson. Why would Hughes take on that contract for a 29 year old goalie who's been bad 2 straight seasons, when he can wait and see what they have in Montembeault at $1 million per year? There's no hurry for Habs to fill starter role in the crease until they are further into the rebuild. That money they would pay Gibson could be spent more wisely.

Can Gibson be the starting goalie on a championship team? If so, then I think he’s worth trading for.
